Position Overview
Tropical Loss Consultants, Inc. is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team as Public Adjuster Apprentices. This is an opportunity to build a long-term career advocating for policyholders while learning the full lifecycle of first-party property insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed public adjusters in inspecting and documenting property damage
• Photograph and organize loss-related evidence
• Support preparation of estimates, inventories, and claim documentation
• Communicate with policyholders to gather information and provide updates
• Track claim timelines, deadlines, and carrier communications
• Learn policy interpretation, coverage analysis, and compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate and organized claim files

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Excellent organizational and communication skills -Spanish  is a plus
• Ability to work in the field and in an office/remote environment
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; Xactimate a plus)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be eligible to obtain a Florida All Lines Adjuster License

Licensed Public Adjuster

Position Overview
Tropical Loss Consultants, Inc. is expanding and seeking experienced, licensed Public Adjusters to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals who are committed to ethical advocacy and delivering accurate, well-documented claims that ensure policyholders receive every dollar they are owed—no less, no more.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough property inspections and damage assessments
• Interpret insurance policies and determine applicable coverage
• Prepare detailed estimates and supporting documentation
• Manage claims from initial loss through resolution
• Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers and their representatives
• Guide policyholders through the claims process with professionalism and transparency
• Maintain compliance with all Florida statutes and regulatory requirements
• Mentor apprentices and contribute to team development

Qualifications

• Active Florida Public Adjuster License (required)
• Proven experience handling first-party property claims
• Strong knowledge of policy language, coverage, and claims handling practices
• Proficiency in Xactimate is a plus but training is offered as well as claim documentation systems
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• High ethical standards and commitment to consumer advocacy
